Wife is already geared up and ready to go....lol I have to learn first though.

Pacific- Im not with schnieder yet, I go to choice orientation on the 2nd, but from what I understand You dont NEED to run 70. If you prebook your freight, and have set timetables for your drops, and move onto the next appointment, why would you have to run like a raped ape just to hurry up and wait?

Stranger, i dont think we ever fully recovered from 2007. But you are also talking about long trends, not what may happen next quarter. As far as a 5yr trend you are dead on. I think 2016 is going to be an interesting year to say the least. I dont think we are heading into another recession. But I think we are going to lose a few more points across the board and recover sometime late q1-q2 next year.

I lived through the gas crisis, economic turn down and 18% interest of the early and late 70's, the double dip of the 80's, Black Monday, the recession of '92, and everything since 9/11. This has been way different than any of those. The whole way of doing business has changed for the worse as far as the consumer and worker is concerned. NAFTA was the great start of the end, and all the other alaphabet treaties since have dug us deeper and deeper, all for the sake of a few.

I owned trucks in the 70's 80's 90's and 00's. A lot of it right in the middle of those slow times. It is really hard to make a good dollar when freight is cheap and slow.

I agree. In 2008 I was in the markets working with distressed properties and short sale aquisitions. I saw 1st hand the crap the 1st tier comoanies and conglomerates created. Ot was utter crap. Instead of all the bullcrap legoslation and bailouts, we should have just let the free maket have its way, and let them all burn down. We would jave been in a much better place today. There is no such thing as corporate integrity anymore.
