Was out for a three month stretch while at a previous carrier. The entire summer, in fact. Funny thing is, I hardly noticed at the time because I was getting a string of good-paying runs. Of course, it's easy to pull stuff like that when you're single.
Whats the longest you stayed out on the road without a break ?

7 months. But I'm married to my team mate and the girls were in college. Heading back OTR in a couple weeks. Linehaul bores me to death.

57 days. As a rule I start getting a little punchy after about 15. I was actually looking for a load home at around day 28, but there were good loads to be had. Unfortunately they were going the wrong way. I wasn't gonna look a gift horse in the mouth.

I'm currently enduring my longest stay yet, October 1st to November 24th. Another month to go, it's a mental game for sure.
