What are you wanting to pull? Reefer, flatbed, van tank, specialized?
Do you want good insurance, pay, mileage, OTR, local? Where are you and where do you want to drive?

 

New drivers and their quest for amenities. Geeeesh. Back when I started we cared about two things, the engine & the paycheck.

 

Remember when you were too busy driving and making money to even worry about that stuff.... and if you weren't driving you were sleeping

 

I try not to be negative on these forums, there's plenty of that without me. But holey macaroni I'm actually embarrassed for some of these cats with these questions. Amenities? Good lord man. All the questions to answer and ask about this business and you're worried about satellite tv? Bro seriously man do yourself a favor and stay at mcdonalds cuz you're just gonna waste everyone's time tryin to truck.

You should be more worried about a whole lot of other things. There's no right answer, everyone's situation is different.

Where do you live, how often do you want to be home, do you want to run hard, do you have a preference for reefer/flatbed/dry box etc.

Look through the section 'report a bad trucking company' to get an idea of what you might want to ask.

My questions when looking for a job are typically about money, miles, governed speed (again related to $), routes, etc but that's just me. I can watch TV at home after I run the max amount of miles in the shortest amount of time possible...
