Bruenger Co Lease

Well, he's finally in his dock door, 3 hours later... As long as they unload him quick, he's got that load from Pasadena, TX going up to Kansas for Monday on him now. If he can get loaded there quickly and back on the road by 2:30 or so, he'll be able to make it home in time for the game. This load he is on for Monday doesn't pay very well at all, but considering he was planning on deadheading home almost 300 miles, it works out nicely and will get him in a better lane to get a good paying load on Monday!

 

George got an email from dispatch just a few minutes ago, telling him he was awesome, and they added a few exclamation points, so you know they meant it! I'm just surprised it took them a week to figure that out! That's too long, haha!

 

How long did it take you?.....jk

 

Well, I know him too well, so it's taken me a lot longer to figure out he's awesome, haha! And there are some days I'm not so sure...

 

So poor George got stuck in Houston for the night. One of the airbags on the trailer popped just after the trailer got loaded, and after waiting a few hours for a call back from dispatch, they finally told him that no one in the area has the part, so he's parked for the night and they'll figure out something in the morning. Hopefully they can get it fixed quick so he can get home tomorrow night for trick or treating. Him missing the game tonight kinda sucks, but with the storms, the band didn't play and actually got sent home early, so he didn't really miss anything.
