Yeah, I get it...I just didn't know how they would be doing it.

I don't have a job offer. I came here and asked because you guys have been around and I wasn't sure if that was a good opportunity.

The way they worded it, it's not for a student driver. It's for someone that does not yet have their cdl's and it looks like a long grueling process before the person actually gets to drive. I am not looking to work on a dock. I am not against it....it's just that I want to drive and get the experience.

I'm not worried about the sales part. I've done it before.

I hope xpo changes that shady part of their business you mentioned.

Thanks for the recommendation. I will look into it more.

First... What exactly is earning pennies on the dollar?

Second, there is no requirement to stay anywhere a year. Some companies want at least a years experience, some are good at 6 months. I know people at home who spent 6 months or less at their first carrier and have found locla jobs they are happy with. One guy was 3 months, and left for the local gig.

There is no need for him to go to England or SWIFT from the LTL just because he didn't do a year first.

Penny's on the dollar I mean getting paid per mile.. Why get paid .38cpm when when he can start off making 22.00 per hour or more .
No there's no requirement to stay anywhere you don't want to. But with less than a year experience it's gonnabe difficult to replace the income he would make at Conway unless he can get in another LTL company. I was using swift and ENGLAND as an example of the companies that will hire him rite away with less than a year experience.
