Trimac hires new CDL grads depending on the terminals needs. One new grad was hired in Michigan this year for a $60K home every day job. He walked in to the terminal and asked for an application and an interview; they hired him.
I drove for Schwerman and at the time they hired me they required 3 yrs. experience. Two new CDL grads with all the endorsements walked in and were hired on the spot. I know for a fact one of them made $65K his first 12 months solo.
Many companies bend their hiring rules for an exceptional new cdl grad.
Forgot, another new CDL grad was hired this year with Trimac in Louisville, KY.

Another company you won't hear about in CDL school is Waggoners Trucking Co.
They hire new cdl grads and pay teams .67 cpm split and solo .50 cpm. With this company you need hazmat and passport. -

I live right across the river from Philly airport and did not know about A&R. @Chinatown adds to my knowledge once again.

I am currently a student driver for Werner this is not a company you want to drive for they do not care about there drivers and the pay is average at best. The trainers are horrible they are not qualified to train students. The pay is so bad at werner that my trainer can't afford to eat sometimes. I know they say all the big companies are the same but stay away from werner.
Giuseppe Ventolucci and Lightside Thank this. -
Are you in training? Is it because they team drive?
-
Yea im doing my training now,
-
So you can't eat and they suck? Their terminals must be nice.

I currently drive from Melton Truck Lines and I've been here for 10 months in the summertime you can expect paychecks in the 1000 to 1500 dollar range every single week after taxes. In the winter time you can expect to get paychecks in the 300 to $600 range every week after taxes. They pay about $0.10 of miles more than Warner. The equipment is decent most of their trailers are in good shape it is hard work but it's very rewarding. Most new truck drivers are terrible at time management and that's why most new truck drivers don't make them kind of money that the industry promises. We have a really good CSA score and their trucks are maintained very well. I don't really have any complaints I'm just looking for more money so if I do find more money than $0.48 per mile I'll probably take it but I don't have any intentions on leaving here before thenGiuseppe Ventolucci Thanks this.

Wagoner? Where are they out of? How do I get a hold of them, and is it van, flatbed or refer?
