Winter also gives you a great show. Something like going eastbound on I-80 in Wyoming and enter a whiteout. Then exit said whiteout to see another driver going eastbound in the westbound lanes. Or lets not forget all of the median warriors on I-40 in Texas that just had to get that load on the road. And last but certainty not least that feeling that comes when you see your trailer coming at you in your California mirrors.

There’s many bad thing that can happen in the winter time.
Once I had a bid run, and I knew the roads very good. I was coming up on a sharp curve, I touched my brake pedal to slow down, yet I did not slow down. It scared the daylights out of me. Thankfully there was no one coming from the other direction so I could use the whole highway. In that curve, I thought I was gone, but thanks to a miracle I made it.
It was about two miles to the next town, I stopped at a conveniences buying a bottle of alcohol, poured some of into my brake line 2 times them I had brakes once again.
From them on I kept a can of that brake stuff, can’t call them name of it, in my truck when winter time came just in case I needed it. And sometime when it was real cold I could put some of it I my brake lines to be sure my brakes did not ice up.G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
Short days and solar powered drivers. The truck stops seem to fill much earlier in the winter.
This is a thing, right? It's not just my imagination?ramblingman and jungledrums Thank this. -

Hmm -40 out 70mph wind blizzards... I would have to go with frozen brakes and ice. But ice + holiday travelers certainly makes things exciting.

Alcohol in the brake air lines is not a good idea. It deteriorates the rubber and damages the abs valves.
If you have an alcohol evaporator and add it to the system before that it is OK, but I have heard drivers recommend pouring it directly in the air lines. This is not a good idea -
Probably not being able to see ahead of your truck in whiteout conditions.
