Quick update for the day -

Yesterday thr tuck got serviced. Was in and out in little over an hour. They fixed my smart pass feature in the truck that let's me go 68 MPH for a total of 30 minutes in a 24 hour period. Joy!!!

Took a shower in the awesome new Driver Lounge. Signed up for health insurance. Roughly $150 a month for medical, dental, and vision . Not to bad...

Truck got washed, but now its raining SOB!! My chrome!!

The first Walmart had me unloaded in 1.5 hours. No detention for me. I left and drove just shy of 400 miles, so I have about 130 to my next delivery. Found a pilot here here on I80 last night with plenty of parking. I am right by Winnemucca I think.

I am gonna get up make some coffee, pancakes with bacon do my pretrip and get ready to finish this whole run. Man it feels like I have been on this same run forever...

I also got paid yesterday for the trip I dropped in Texas.

    1200 mile run. 2 days.
    -$17 last inverter payment
    -$20 Pride Store sweathsirts
    $397 After taxes

    Highlight of the day -
I was cruising along and this super trucker blows by me doing at least 75-80 MPH. Zooooom!!! I thought well more power to you bro. About 40 miles later I pull off on am exit to check out a rest are and see flashy flashy on the shoulder of the exit. Thought nothing of it and creeped by super slow and safe. Guess who was pulled over getting a fine tooth comb ran through his truck?
I felt bad but I was laughing so hard. You know he was embarrassed as ####...
Just reminded me - this isn't a race, be professional and make that drop safe as you can.

Finally finished my delivery. After having breakfast, I drove approx 130 miles to my delivery. I wish I could say this Walmart was as fast as the other but they weren't. 4 hours to unload 2 pallets. So silly.
Oh well u watched the Republican debates and got paid $30 in detention.

Before arriving to my final drop, I received a preplan for my next load.
It picks up in CA and delivers right back to Salt Lake City. Alright truck gets washed again!
I made my way over Donner Pass and they had the road really clear. Thanks Cal Trans!! I was a little worried about going over the pass as it was night time and 22 degree's, but no problems.

I was also worried that I was empty and no weight might make things not so fun. I drove about 240 miles to the pickup point and parked at a Walmart 4 miles from customer.

I see a McDonald's in the parking lot so I'll grab some junk food, which I do about once a week and jam over for pickup.

Weather looks amazing today so going back over Donner should be a breeze especially during daylight hours.

Got loaded in CA in about 3 hours. I made my way back over Donner Pass and made it to the same truck stop in Winnamuca. Only drove about 350 miles.

Woke up and made myself a breakfast burrito and coffee. The plan is to make it to my home terminal and sleep there. Wake up early and jump over to the Whole Foods.

I was playing with going 55mph vs. 65 mph to see what kind of mpg I could get. I had to pickup the pace at the end to ensure I could start driving by 4:30am so the last 70 miles I drove 65, but I still got 8.5 mpg with 33,000 in the trailer.

Before getting to my terminal I received my next load. Pickup is at my terminal and delivers to IL.

Woke up this morning and drove to stop 1. Holy crap is this place tight. Waiting for a local driver to finish and I can back in. Second stop is 21 miles away just over the mountain. I should be back at my terminal by 10/11am.

Yesterday was pretty much the end of week 1 being out with a total of 3000 miles for the week.

Forgive me as I may or may not have spelled it correcly. Not sure if auto correct changed it on me or I made a mistake.

Either way, I'm not going to proof read every post I make here just appease people like you.
Think your just a little bit salty of what a Pride recruiter told you.
From your attitude in other threads I have seen, you wouldn't be a good fit for Pride.

To be honest I'm not sure, but I have not heard of anyone going there.

    Yea Morris. I'm here now.
Speed limit was 75. He was pushing 80+ it felt like. Passed me so fast it shuck my truck.

    HalpinUout Thanks this.
