Jdr1989 I'm set to go there soon. I'm torn between them and another company. Been approved with both just not sure which direction to go yet. Hows the equipment look? So does that mean they only truck to get right now is the pro star ? I was told there are plenty of cascadias to choose from. Was that exaggerated by my recruiter? Lol. How's the accommodation there? Motel meals etc. I'm sure I'll think of more .. Lol

I went straight into a 2015 evolution there is a small list for the 2016 evolutions also this is at the Owensboro ky yard if your going to the Kansas City yard for orientation I have no idea what they have but here you will most likely get a 2015 freightliner or prostar and you can be put on list for a 2016 if you want it. They put you up in a days Inn which has hot breakfast they buy you lunch they also have a fridge stocked with drinks and they have snacks in the room like chips cookies crackers honeybuns and all sorts of stuff and they give you 15 dollars a day for dinner also mostly all trucks have a built in fridge and all trucks have thermo king apus which is nice. Also on a side note the recruiter probably told you to go with the variable lease but if you plan on running a lot of miles then go with the fixed payments you'll make more money. just a suggestion tho

Also what I like here is the maintenance plan. Most companies take out 10cpm put it into an account then when you need it they use it if there's anything left you have to pay for it and then you end up in the negative but here they only take 8cpm and it covers everything you'll never have to pay out of pocket or go into the negative because of repairs
highwayman Thanks this. -
Yeah I'll be going to KC yard if I choose RTI. .. Well 2015 evolution is better than 2013 pro star in my opinion. Haha.
Yeah my recruiter talked me towards the variable. But she said they are only averaging 2000 miles a week some even a lil less. Said its expected to pick up etc. I'm not sure which direction to go. But I for sure like the good that I hear about them. Just hoping the bad isn't that bad. Lol -
Well so far miles for first week we're crap but hopefully that was because they were trying to get me home.hope next week goes better

Ya it's just scaring me. I know you need at least 2500 miles give or take in order to make a decent check. I'm just hoping I do get more ,but we'll see. Have you decided who your going with?
