6 Weeks training doesn't bother me. It's still a paycheck and I could learn plenty during that time.
Nice starting pay and miles. Do you guys stay out 2 weeks at a time or is it home weekly?

I would much rather do 6 weeks training at low pay and get a good paying position after, than be locked into months of work at a low CPM after a short training period.CasanovaCruiser Thanks this.

New guys listen to this.
Training will suck. No way around it that I know of. Look at what you're getting when you finish training, that's what matters.Locke and Bob Dobalina Thank this. -
Oh, yeah! My thoughts exactly. 6 weeks is nothing. Month and a half at 400 a week... that's a little low on training pay but not a deal breaker and the pay after 6 weeks more than works for me.
Now let's see if he gives me the company name or makes me do a google scavenger hunt
With paschall, the actual training period is only a couple weeks but then its close to 6 months of teaming..and not the same person the whole time either. So it's like 6 months of training. Now, ultimately, if that's what I have to do to get into trucking and take care of my family, I will do it. I'll bite the bullett. But if I can find something that is better, I'm gonna jump on it. -
I would not count or go to any company that would make me rain with a trainer that is really a team. I also wouldn't go to one that has student driver teams after training. Just all in all a cheap way to make money.
Locke Thanks this. -
yeah why dont you post what company this is?Locke Thanks this.

Did he post and leave?

I would hope but for some reason I don't see it happening. But it's quite often.

I think I found it. They have terminals in London Kentucky and in Princeton Indiana but they are actually headquartered in Michigan.
http://www.kctransjobs.com/london--ky.html 6-8 week training 400 a week
http://www.kctransjobs.com/benefits.html .42 cpm after training
And the terminals in Princeton and London, this has to be the same company.TROOPER to TRUCKER Thanks this.
