Exactly. I never filed taxes because you are not required to file unless you break a certain amount, I live at home with my dad hes had kidney failure/COPD for years so I have stayed with him rent free making sure hes okay. Never needed alot of income but time really just flew by and hes getting close to the end and I'd like to be stable before it happens so I dont end up homeless.

If all else fails I can just go with swift and hope my dog gets good treatment, my dad would spoil him but my fiance.. She gets angry easily and I dont want her accidently hurting my dog, the other night he was begging and ignoring her and she grabbed him by his back leg and dragged him across the room. Pissed me off quite a bit to say the least as she could have really hurt his hip.

Question: how will social anxiety affect your ability to drive a truck? If you get anxious being around people (or not), what will happen when you're going down the road and one of those 'oh ####' moments happens? Are you able to deal with the situation? If not, find another job, please.

Have you checked with your local unemployment office? Some places will pay for private cdl training, then you will have more choices after you get your cdl.

    austinmike Thanks this.

I've driven many places and oh #### moments happen time to time its not an issue. Social anxiety has nothing to do with driving thanks.

Your kidding right, a lot of drivers including me have social anxiety. Driving is perfect, get to be by yourself most if the time, almost takes an antisocial person to be a driver. What does it have to do with ability to drive?

    austinmike and Sphene25 Thank this.

I have driven to portland many times from boise, yukama washington(catch that one?) Seattle a few times. Lewiston/moscow area. Cheyenne, Phoenix, the ghettos of New Mexico. Been down to Texas as well. Driving isnt an issue I dont have anxiety driving infact I am at peace when on the road.

If a big oh #### happens and it really does kick in the fight or flight response a good Swisher sweet little cigar calms the mood right away.

Thank you.. Couldnt have said that better, Im 100% antisocial IRL but when I have to I talk to people. Online I'll talk to new ppl all the time without issue. I just dont like real life conversation its almost always over the weather or stuff I have no interest in. Now if we bumped into eachother and you were a big time PC gamer or built PC's I would probably forget I had any form of social anxiety and chat away hah.

I think trucking is the PERFECT job for someone with social anxiety. You get to be alone for hours at a time being paid to enjoy the open road. Have to talk to people here and there but no big deal its not like sitting in an office having to deal with a terrible manager IRL everyday making you miserable. =)

Good idea. The social anxziety might qualify you for paid school. Will be hoops to jump thru but worth it.

Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA. Other species of animals, whether wild or domestic, trained or untrained, are not considered service animals either. The work or tasks performed by a service animal must be directly related to the individual’s disability. It does not matter if a person has a note from a doctor that states that the person has a disability and needs to have the animal for emotional support. A doctor’s letter does not turn an animal into a service animal.
