Best 12 volt Coffee Maker?

I haven't given up yet. I have found several, but the reviews were only around 3 stars. All I have is time so I'll keep looking and will let you know if I find anything.

 

Forget 12v, JETBOIL stove and coffee press.

 

It may be unorthodox, but I know for sure you could buy a secondary deep cycle battery to keep in the cab, and run an inverter directly off that to operate your coffee maker... then you could use the 12v cigarette lighter to trickle charge your secondary battery.

You'd have to buy the battery, and make or buy the trickle charger, but its certainly possible and wouldnt require direct access to your trucks actual battery, in order to comply with company policy or whatever.

 

If you can get an inverter in the truck. I personally have a Keurig and my K-cups.
But something to consider with most 110v stuff. Wattage is not the deciding factor if something will work or not. It's AMPERAGE. (I.E. a 700w microwave meant for the house that has 15 or even 7 Amps won't work in the truck without a massive Inverter to handle the battery draw) There are basic calculators on the web if you want to look

Too bad they all have beside them....

 

I always had a 1000 watt inverter in my truck for running my coffee maker. It sat right between my seats and i always had fresh hot Folgers coffee. Those 12 volt plug in models are slow, break in a couple months, and s--k. Running an Inverter tied to the batteries is the best solution.
