The better question is how come the concept of a PLAIN burger is so hard to grasp for the world's idiots.

I don't want onions or pickles touching my bread either. One of the reasons I avoid McDonalds.

    Yes.

I got the registration renewal for my car. It went up to $82. That includes a new fee of $8 for "inspection", which I guess is what we have to pay for them to "verify" our vehicle inspection report electronically now that they no longer require an inspection sticker. Inspection still costs $27 unless THAT has gone up too.

A long time ago there was a story posted here about someone in Georgia in that situation who ran out of hours that close to home.

He did just that, kept going. He made it home, parked, and went to bed.

Sometime in the middle of the night a drunk driver hit his trailer and was killed. The accident investigation revealed what the driver did, and he lost everything he owned to the wrongful death lawsuit that followed. The "logic" was if the truck driver had shut down where and when he was supposed to, has truck would not have been parked where it was, and the drunk's car would have ended up in the woods likely not leading to his death.

Enjoyed my biscuits and gravy breakfast in shower #1. They were at #57 and gave me #62. When I checked the number in the Subway after waiting for my food at McDonald's it was already 61. When I moved over to the Subway it went to 62. Apparently a bunch of people left.

The one time I didn't mind waiting. ....

That's a good way to break your arm if you didn't have power steering.

I drove a two-stick R-model for a while, shifting with ONE hand. Dag nabbit, I was gonna prove it could be done. :D

Simple. Leave the plant matter off my burgers, and we'll get along fine. ;)

You remember that? That was from Scarecrow03 back when TurboTrucker was still around.

I'm not sure if the guy was parked on the side of the road or not. Something tells me it wouldn't have made any difference though.
