Why? You have your authority why do you want to run under another company, you might as well just cancel your authority and lease on.

Yeah, I'm kinda missing your question. If your looking for a company to run for then you would use their authority. the point in having your own authority is you don't have to run under anyone. You get to do what you want.

if your looking for direct freight, it's hard to give you an answer without knowing the area you live in.

I'm looking for a freight broker. a third party logistics company. someone i can partner with to pull the freight they have contracts for under my own authority. Not someone like lets say JB Hunt where i have to run under their authority for 1.00 mile just to have access to their never-ending freight.

You're going to have to hook up with a broker that has the good 3PL connection. You'll have to prove yourself dependable and reliable. The good stuff is hit and miss even at that. So reality is you will need several good connections with access to 3PL. 3PL do not typically bother with one truck guys. They work with people who cover volume. There are TIER levels of access to most 3PL freight. The higher and better paying stuff will never hit a load board and there aren't any one truck guys booking it direct from the 3PL. It ain't what people want to hear but that is how it works.
