I cant seem to find my usb cord for my digital camera and i have so many pictures i need to get off of it. Now it is and older camera by todays standards but it works well. Can i run to office depot and pick up a new cord for it of do i have to go somewhere else for it ? and if so where do i go to get a new cord ?

Any decent electronics store should have it...
Cerberus Thanks this. -

Personally, I would call them first to verify it.

Yepper.... Call first, but it's a fairly common cord.

Another option, if your camera has a removal flash memory card, is to buy a card reader. Make sure it will read the type of card that is in your camera. they're not universal. Some will read more than one type of card, but I haven't seen any that will read every kind that is out there. Especially as you have an older camera.

Funny you say that Dilbert. I went to radio shack yesterday to get the uSB cord and i got talking to the salesperson and he mentioned it. The cord was $22 and the card reader was only $12 and it doesnt eat up the camera battery while i download pictures. I picked it up and used it to download the pictures i just posted around here. It works perfectly.

That's the way I go. My laptop has an on board card reader and it's quicker to pop the card out of the camera and into the computer.

Yes Jack, I've been waiting on those pictures of your trip.
