yep sure is. I'm as excited as I shoulda been when I heard my kids were on the way. Not that I was disappointed but had that nervous can I do it. I guess we all know what I mean there. One thing I'm sure of. The baby has the kind of parents I had and I'm gonna do everything I can to see I'm the kind of pap paw that I had.

I think Rio is a mixture of Los Angeles with Detroit and parts of New York and Miami... except for the slums...

    and open sewage canals...

and indigents dying on the streets... folks sleeping on the sidewalks...

    that's very "common" there...

elderly folks with wounds and "crippled"...

..and whole families with kids camping under a marquise... and the trash accumulated on the streets... :biggrin_2552:

Other thing one can find there but not here are the adds of prostitutes inside phone booths... many of those are transvestites...

BTW, prostitution is legal in Brasil... and so is selling/ buying and drinking alcoholic beverages any time, anywhere in public... I'm not condemning or anything... just saying that's different from here... not sure about Vegas though...
Police there is not the same as it is here eighter... Can't count on them for any protection... :biggrin_25512: Oh... and something similar to 911 was just initiated in some parts of Brasil in 2013... not sure how... if that is working... All I saw on TV is that there's a heck of a lot of crime there that goes unpunished... for lack of law enforcement.
Other than that, Rio is a big city like any other in the USA...

Thank you Mr. Red... yes... Americans who have never lived in a 3rd world country... and I am NOT referring to anyone here... Just saying that Americans -in general - who have never lived in a country like Brasil, or Mexico or anywhere in South or Central America or anywhere like that... don't have a clue what REAL poverty, and crime and corruption is... :biggrin_25512: not to say about the pollution...
