I believe my current company is holding things up. They're on the chip with me looking around.

It was a mixed bag Joey. Started it great but as the day wore on and I grew tired and hungry my focus want quite right and I wondered aloud at times, "the heck am I doing?" Going from where I worked

I'll be glad when I understand all of the procedures, but today was day one and I'm hoping tomorrow gets better.

 

I know you already know this, but hang in there. We are going or have gone thru this. I know its going to be quite a change for me too.

 

Smoker you could be spot on with your guess that it's your current company.
After 2 weeks since my road test I called my prior company and was told Wal-Mart faxed their paperwork and my former company sent it back with a clean bill of health. I called the H/R girl at Pottstown she said one company hadn't faxed and submitted Wal-Mart's request. That was yesterday.
I called her back today to see if there was anything I could do to assist whatever company was holding things up, so she gave me the safety/recruiter's number inn Bentonville and after some phone tag we finally connected and I found out lo and behold the company that's holding things up is my current employer. Fortunately the safety director did tell me they received a fax today from my company that they're gonna fax it over in the morning. (I just hope now that they do)
