Pittsburgh is a great town when you aren't driving anything that has more than 4 wheels.

Have you ever played with Blair's 6AM reserve? It is among the hottest things on this planet. A pepperhead friend of mine and I used to go to a certain Mexican Restaurant every Friday night and we took a bottle with us to "doctor" the salsa. This stuff is dangerously hot. I always took latex gloves with me to handle the bottle when I removed it from the case. A single drop on the end of a toothpick would render a bowl of mild salsa somewhat on the very hot side. I would hold the toothpick and remove the glove, wrapping it up inside after I mixed it in. One night a table of Mexicans saw me doctor the salsa and asked the waitress what I was doing. She knew and told them I was making it hot... at this point a couple of them just HAD to try some on a chip. OK. While we sat munching on the stuff we watched two of them, in pain, drinking their Bud Limes as fast as they could to try to cool their mouths down. They didn't ask for any more.:angryfire:

Not sure if this pertains to the above, but I'm pretty confident that the human body can't digest corn kernels. Even sweet corn. Candy corn, well that's a whole nuther story...

Heh...we've got a homemade hot sauce that eats the metal lids of canning jars. I'll look into that, probably hotter than I can handle but my dad is a hothead. Probably make for a good partial Christmas present.

Edit: at 10 million on the Scoville scale, yeah. The 6am is going to be a little on the warm side for me. I could do the 2am or 3am though.

Last year was a build your own clock out of wood kit. Gotta figure something out for this year.

I don't think candy corn is digestible either...
