    Simply put, testosterone. It makes our metabolism burn calories faster than women's metabolisms. It's the reason why when you look at a daily intake chart that compares women and men, men will need to consume more food/calories to maintain their current weight/activity.

    As a result, we literally burn hotter and are less susceptible to the cold.
