Hope all is well, I want to ask this question. as a new driver fresh out of school what are signs indicating you are driving for a bad company? lack of sufficient training? etc? In my honest opinion if a company is willing to take on new students shouldn't it be a sufficient amount of time before the company throw you to the wolves? I really cant mention the company I work for just yet, but I do feel I wont be there much longer. my gut is telling me "something" isn't right about this place. Like I previously stated I am new to trucking, so if my questions sound dumb in any way just keep scrolling and not waste your time nor mine with your corny and ignorant remarks. God bless.

    28 Thanks this.

Won't be any different at the next company. Most of the big outfits are about the same. You start hopping around and it will hurt you.

1 week, So your not with any of the megas. that is kinda short for a new driver.
are they forcing you to go solo, if your not ready tell em.

No its not a mega company. I happened to run into a trainee today, and he was telling me he went through the same ordeal. He was spooked out because he almost had about three close calls this week alone, and the company will not let him train with their so called trainer. I honestly feel I need more time that's all.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but most companies I've come across have a minimum or maximum of a certain amount of time before they cut you loose right? 1 week? Jesus.

if you dont feel right yet dont do it.
its not worth ruining your driving future because of lack of training.
