You sure have it in for the NW Regional fleet.

In the 4 years I've been on this fleet I've logged over 100,000 miles per year. That's an average of 2,000 miles per week give or take. Given the higher base pay and all the extra pay, I'll bet I've made as good a living as any other driver on any other fleet.

I'll grant you that I've probably had to work a lot harder than guys on those other fleets, but that's the nature of the job.

I'm certain that you worked hard if you are driving 20,000 miles per week! Just messing with you...I'm sure that is supposed to be 2,000 instead of 20,000. :)

Don is a great guy. He always made it seem like that whatever I had going on when I called, was the most important thing going. He also chewed my butt when I deserved it, but 5 minutes later everything was good again. I'll miss that guy.

No wonder I'm so tired all the time. I thought I was getting a good deal, too.

I don't "have it in" for anyone. But I know a lot of guys on NW regional who have been complaining every time I talk to them about small paychecks.

One guy said it had been over a year since he'd been to Montana or SOCAL. Spokane to Seattle. 3 hours on each end waiting, securing or loading. That's an entire day and guys are making $130 for it. t the end of the week they do well to make $700-800 gross.

Also had several guys tell me about sitting in the Spokane yard for a whole day 1-3 times a week.

For those of us hiring on for the first time...

If you started with System again what would you get in writing?

Honestly it's nothing you can get in writing as a company driver. Like the above post I agree with him about the NW fleet I've talked to a few that say they run mainly to the west and back and not much into Canada anymore but maybe it's just the season.

I can only say for myself but they run my ### off I never set with out a load I've never be empty over the weekend and my checks and miles are always good

Gross or net? Thanks for replying. My last 2 months have been close to 12K, that is where I need to be on a regular basis.
