    Sleeping in Milroy was great.

Realizing that the only "company approved" fuel stop on the way home was T/A Harrisburg,,, grrrr.

I really hate that location, thank god I never have to sleep there.

So many better truckstops in the area.

And to really make my morning, stopped at another little side truckstop on the way home for breakfast (wife didn't go shopping so there's not much food in the house) not only did I NOT get ripped off for a bottle of milk, but the guy parked next to me was unloading "damaged" juice from a local grocery DC.

Not that I'm partial to orange-mango but the wife & kid might like it. Too bad I didn't run into the guy last week, he had a damaged case of Hershey's!!!

OK I'm at Walmart and just getting into a completely shoe throwing mood. If I could reach thru the hole in the glass at receiving I'd get her dam shoe too. After working out that yes, in fact they do want this refrigerated dairy product on a dry dock, I go there. Just as I'm coming off the trailer, they call. That's a bad door, move 4 doors away. @#%$@

Get hooked back up and wait. Now I sit another 10 minutes while 4 other drivers have a mental death match on coordinating themselves into their assigned doors. Companies not named to protect the innocent. Or just the smart ones. Whew! finally dock and park.

Just for fun, here's one. You don't need to be in the big city to find a rush hour traffic jam. 0530 in downtown Winder, GA. (pronounced as in "winding a clock")

    Warning! Parking rant!

Today's wall of shame inductee goes to the Crum driver in truck R-167. Most impressive exhibition of brain power and sheer, curb destroying strategy to get an easy exit and/or unimpeded short walk to the sugary snacks inside that I have seen in a while. And who cares if the trailer is back even with the sidewalk and making the driveway barely passable? Are you stupid? Use the exit if you want to come in and fuel, loser.

This, while there were at least 30 open spaces, even some in a row, for the hard charger willing to wheel around back and park like a boss. I would have awarded a runner up award to the Covenant driver that was across from me, dead center on top of two spaces. Bad enough you come in late, even better when you hog an extra space to be extra douchey. I did not capture the moment due to bad lighting and being unable to handle the dog and camera at once. This is why nobody outside of trucking really cares whether we can find parking or not.
