Stay out of those ambulance things! They haul sick folks around!

...or for those of us who are a completely different kind of sick...leave them for the folks that can be cured. :p

Where at in the upstate? I do enjoy visiting the upstate, reminds me of where I lived in NJ in a way. Went up to Clemson a couple weeks ago. Haven't been to many areas up there, mostly just Clemson/Pendleton & Greenville. Also like to visit the classic car place in Gray Court whenever I'm up that way.

And I can see how it'd be a culture shock to those who only know the Charleston area also lol

You've only been to the big city(s) up there lol

Pick a nowhere little town up there:

Abbeville. Greenwood. Laurens. Waterloo. Union. Antreville. Due west. Lake secession. Iva. Cowpens

Born in abbeville. Lived in all of the rest of them at one time or another until I was 28 and got the hell out of the state and made something of myself lol

Have a former friend from Greenwood. The car group used to always give him crap about his lil nowhere town upbringing. Though his parents are loaded with $, gives him whatever he wants, and he takes advantage of that down here in Charleston lol.

I've heard of all of them except Antreville & Iva. May have to visit one or a few - I like exploring and ending up in little towns along the way. Took the Mustang out one day and started taking random turns, ended up passing through little towns I'd never heard of and finding some cool historic buildings to check out. :)

Been to Union for drag racing before.

Didn't think Clemson was all that big. Only reason I know of it is for the college team, honestly. And always stop at the Smokin Pig in Pendleton whenever up there. I know Greenville is considered "big city" though!

I had a grammatical oopsie from earlier in the week… I accidentally referred to myself as being stillborn.

I couldn't help but be slightly amused, and mortified, of the driver shortage for mega companies being so bad that they no longer required a warm body in the seat....

Greenwood was the big city you drove 45 minutes to get to 'town' if you needed anything more than you could get at the crossroads gas station/store from 4 of them lol

Don't blink if you go through antreville and Iva. Post office and a store and you missed it

Living at the lake was nice. Abbeville isn't too bad. Nice town square with brick pavement. I love the opera house there. One thing I'd love to do before I die is play that room with a trio. I did with the concert band and jazz ensemble in school. Awesome acoustics. I'd love to get a guitar and amp on that stage.

They haven't required a brain in the head for quite some time so that shouldn't be a big leap! :biggrin_25522:
