Drug Screen Refusal LIE by Prev Employer

    I was on my hometime and I get called in for a random drug test during my hometime . I told them I cant make it because its my time off and im busy with family and had no way to make it to the clinic . I asked if I could do it when I return to duty and they said No . Because of this they put a drug test refusal on my dac/work record
    .

    Any advice ?

    this happened April of this year .

    I have no felonies , dui , theft , accidents , etc .. never failed or refused a drug screen ...

    Advice ?

    Sounds like you refused the drug test. That's the same as a positive test. Being available to go for a random drug screen, home time or not, is part of the job in trucking. You won't be getting another driving job for a long while. Good luck.

    Exactly. You'll have to attend a SAP program as well and get cleared.

    That sucks..... I would have just went and got it done anyway. In some cases you could have been in and out of there in an hour or so and would have avoided all of this crap. To your defense they shouldn't be bothering you with work related stuff when your having your time at home. What if you were on vacation and they did this? Hopefully you can work this out. That's why I never answer my phone. Leave a message if its that important and I'll call you back
