Finally caught up... whew... headed to the J on I 20 x80 in SC... letting the student do all of the driving today since he just got a 34... another week or so and he should be ready to terrorize y'all by himself. This is my weekend off starting Sunday, but it looks like I'll be there Saturday... so I may come out Wed instead of Thurs... depends on how lazy I feel. We drop this one in Lithia Springs tomorrow and unless they have an out and back, we're done.Last edited: Dec 4, 2015

got home this morning and the wife wanted to go to Sams Club today. So we go to Sams and Aldi in Cookeville , stopped by the Averitt yard and picked up 4 quarts fuel treatment for them cold nights
been a long day and I'm not far from hitting the sack for the night -
Stopped at the Paso Junction Truckstop in Pratt, KS. Took the opportunity to get some provisions by walking across US54 to Walmart. Yes, you read that right, walking. I know "walking" is an alien concept to some drivers.

Spent the whole day on a jobsite as the union used my trailer as a temporary work shop instead of, you know, unloading it?
So 5 hrs detention pay. Considering I blew off yesterday (it does NOT take 2 days from Chicago to Philadelphia, so I ran hard, got home for breakfast and climbed into bed for the day)
Trailer goes in yard, paperwork goes in office, tractor goes to Ryder shop for some work (which is conveniently closer to home than my company). Done and done.
Turns out the labor pool at the office and some of the other drivers have petitioned the teamsters. So we're having an "educational" meeting on Monday. I just got back here and people want to go Union? Hahahahah.
I wonder how long this thread will get before it breaks? I think the record is like 3500 pages.
Try not to break it before Monday guys.truckon, TruckDuo, HeWhoMustNotBeNamed and 4 others Thank this. -
