1976 was the last year of the true battleship Oldsmobile's



Last year of the 455 cubic inch "Rocket" V8.

I drove this in HS.
1983 Oldsmobile 98 Regency. That thing floated over the road and that big V8 would cruise at 85 mph without a whimper. The old R12 air conditioning system would freeze you out.

 

Doing a very meticulous search around the area here on Google satellite and Google search... ... Gotta find a place to rent where I can park the big truck for a week and park my car while I am on the road... Tomorrow will visit some businesses and see what deal I can get... Also found 3 adds from last Nov. on Craigslist offering exactly what I am looking for... Hope they are still available... Will check them out tomorrow too...
