You did not receive a ticket, but "What" states your violation? Were you given an inspection during the traffic stop??
If this is the case, you will get no fine from KY, but after the inspection is entered into CSA, you may indeed receive a FEDERAL fine of $2750 and your company will be fined $10,000.
And you will probably not be working for this company after that.

The inspection list the section number and violation discovered but like I said no citation (ticket) was given. After some research the 2750 is the max and enforced for more than 1 or 2 violations as for the 11,000 for a company if the company doesn't have a policy against mobile device usage. I am still not sure if I will receive a fine or not.

It is a rare happening, but not all tickets make it on a driver's record. It has happened to me. I had a DOT officer one night write me up for a headlight being out, it never made it on my record, CSA or DMV or any other place. I had a retired DOT officer tell me that tickets have known to be lost, misplaced before they are ever entered into a computer and they wind up in the trash, especially if it is from another state besides your home state.

Ohio is funny, they will send a notice of violation and demand that a fine be paid months after you mail the inspection form back...
