Has anyone removed the air horns from the roof? His did you patch the holes?

Who can recommend (or not recommend) a brand of train horn works and won't rust?

The cheap (and not recommended way) would be to just drop some stainless steel bolts through the holes with rubber sealing washers to keep the water out. My truck has a fibreglass roof and I plan on patching mine with fibreglass, then sand and paint since the truck needs a respray anyways.

One thing to note is the removal of the air horns and putting train horns on will not be DOT legal. The train horns are louder than maximum decibels and can be ticketed if used, and without air horns you can be ticketed as well. I love train horns and many of my trucks have them for fun, but have regular air horns as well.

FYI: you won't get a ticket for no air horns. DOT just requires a horn (city horn or air horn).

Many companies order new trucks without air horns now. Quest Global is one of them.

I'd like to have an air raid horn like was used during WWII.
Also a submarine horn when they dive.
Can those be bought and mounted on trucks?
