It is all about control. They want to drive small companies and owner operators out. That's why the ATA is pushing so hard for E logs and Speed limiters. Small companies and owner ops will become less competitive than they already are. A lot of medium size companies will be bought out because of increasing cost of regulation. The mega's are getting what they want. For drivers who say "I am already on E logs who cares" Your going to care because truck parking is going to become much worse then it already is.

the only way us elog guys have been able to work is because the planning has been done for us, and the planning works for the types of loads that we do. electronic logs don't work for guys who have strange pickup and delivery times.
electronic logging is bad for other companies for example petroleum and tank drivers -
its getting more and more frequent that people have no idea what this flag stood for
