I've heard nothing but bad things about England ( but that still doesn't mean that they are a bad company) I live in Wisconsin, and Roehl has been around a while, and seems to be a good company. Also might want to try H.O. Wolding, or Millis. I think the biggest problem, is new drivers aren't ready for what a company asks them to do, and all of a sudden, it's the worst company in the world. People today want to start at the top, and it doesn't work that way. If you are starting any new venture, it's going to take a while to get adjusted, ( like a year) and yes, you will get some crummy deals, Lord knows, we all have dealt with that. Best of luck.

I've never heard anything bad about HO Wolding. Few of their drivers I've met over the years seemed happy

If you can't afford to miss a paycheck while training for your CDL, then consider a part time school.
Another person in Chicago was in the same situation and went to Wolf truck driver training school on weekends.
