Would anyone happen to have a repair sd card for a 710? I have the one for my old 510 but it doesn't work on the 710. The files look like this for the 510 repair card:

That is the flash... why do you want to flash the firmware?

    Thanks,

My 510 had issues. Sometimes with getting stuck on the truck screen with no loading bar. Reflash. will not power on? reflash. navi.exe error? reflash. Decided it didn't want to charge one day. Reflash. screen turned pixelated. reflash. Dock doesn't work on these oddball issues. Had a buddy who went to Richmond (Rand's repair center)
and got a whole truck load of broken units. Somebody left one of the flash/repair cards in a 510. I bought a copy from him when I told him mine was stuck.
Now my 710 is stuck on WinCe. want to reflash it as dock doesn't work.

Reflashing it might or might not work. The Firmware may not take the flash. A 510 flash has different files. But, you "bought" it from him?

    Thanks,
    Mark

Yeah, the 510 flash worked pretty good for all the 510 problems. That's why I asked about a 710 flash.
By the questioning, I'm just wondering...

Is the flash"repair" card something were not supposed to have? If so, let me know now and we'll forget the whole ordeal and I'll just swap the batteries so I can go back to the 510 again.

I paid him because he didn't really know what to do with it and wanted to throw it away. He owns a recycling center so they all were scrapped out except for two of em we tested the card on.

Well I returned this unit to the Pilot for an exchange, and the new one also does it. Worse actually, as there are two separate blurry areas. Maybe I will return this one directly to Rand.

Tablets - Importing Custom POI's. I found a work around to be able to import your POI's. It will require connecting to a computer and building a couple of folders to move your files into them.

I will write a procedure and it should be done within a couple of days.

I did this manually from my files, but I also want to check downloading from the POI-Factory and see how that goes directly from the POI-Factory via the Tablet.

    Thanks,
    Mark
