My husband's brother just bought a 1980 359 Pete flat top with a Cummins big cam in it. 15 spd tranny. 405? rear end. Just had an inframe.
Pardon the sketchy details. I'm still in shock since he's giving it to us to run for nothin. So now that I had time to pick my jaw up off the floor...
I'm trying to figure out where the heck I take this gift horse to make some money. We're outta Ohio right now.
I know a guy I can run under his authority if I need to. And I can get my hands on whatever trailer. I don't care what we haul... but they gotta take a 36 year old truck.
Thanks guys!
Help! We got an unexpected present.

If you don't care about trailer type, does that include flatbed? If so, consider Graham out of Falston, PA or Kaplan out of Cleveland, OH. Neither have any type of age limit on the trucks as far as I can see, as long as the truck will pass a DOT insp.
If flatbed gives you the heebie jeebies, Transport America out of Eagan, MN accepts older trucks on the O\O side, and they have a full "Service Center" in North Jackson, OH.miss elvee Thanks this. -
Soon as I get to CO to pick her up you bet I will.
Love me those old Petes.
