I am in Salt Lake City and today I saw a driver wearing a pistol on his belt. WTH??? How he can pick up and delivery like that? Most wearhouses have signs "No firearms allowed" Maybe he is a local driver, but he was driving a sleeper truck. Even if he is hauling high value load..... Different states have different laws about guns. Last time I have checked, the only way you can carry gun trough all the states is to be locked in a safe and separated from the ammunition.

Yes, Flying J. He parked next to me and went to check something on his trailer. I was out of my truck cleaning my windshield and I saw the gun on his belt - back side. Big barrel pistol like Glock 17. First I thought, maybe he is an undercover cop, but driving a truck???

Utah has an open carry law, long as it's not concealed you are good to go

Open Cary is legal in some states. Concealed carry is legal in all 50 states with proper permits, and it is possible to be permitted in all states.

Careful, Chris will draw you a picture about why you're wrong. There are some armored outfits that have armed drivers. Not armored car type, but big trucks. They haul high-dollar stuff

Why not? If you have a California ccw, is there a law that bans them from trucks?

This is different, the company is issued a special permits. I am saying as a driver, you decide to bring your gun in the truck....
