Yes it is very complicated to know all the laws, buy the point is it can be done and people do it. I don't carry at work because of company policy, but I always carry on road trips in my car.

The last company i drove for in californis had 12 trucks. I carried my hand gun. It was locked in a box seperate from the ammo. At night i would load it if i was in a scarry area.

I would have no problem with carrying a side arm out of state with proper permits. But needless to say Commefornia, MD,NY, and Ill can be a pain although I have a CC permit. Here in WV we also have open carry, open carried for 25+ yrs before I got a permit. Carrying a sidearm is not a bad thing, some just tend to make it seem that way. Be careful out there.

It is not possible to be permitted in all 50 states. NY for one doesn't issue non resident permits unless you own property in NY. SC doesn't issue non resident permits period. IL will allow you a pistol in your vehicle if you're a non resident, but don't get out of your vehicle with it. Good luck in NJ with an out of state permit, and don't get caught with hollow points either.

Please, don't give out this kind of info if you're not knowledgeable on the subject.

The DOT handbook used to specify no firearms in trucks, but there is now no mention of it anywhere

I know the southeast has a 3 step process so no permits are needed as long as the mag and gun are in to different locations and no round chambered

It is in fact possible. What about law enforcement officers? They can concealed carry in all 50 states. I never Said anyone can concealed carry in all 50 states, just that it is possible for some people to carry concealed in all 50 states. And anyone who can legally own a firearm can have a firearm in a vehicle and transport it in any state legally if done properly.

Permits are only needed to carry a concealed loaded weapon. Guns can be transported in any state if proper procedure is followed, some states must be unloadef, some locked, some ammo in separate area.......
