Best and Worst Truck Stop showers

Don't know how they are now , but about 12-13 yrs ago i stopped at the exit 76 in Berea KY for one of those free showers for drivers , fueling or not..... WOW.

It was a tiny mobile homish style shower with a water hose protruding from the wall (I kid you not).

Never again.... for anything.

 

Newell Truck Plaza north of Wichita has really nice showers.

 

Worst by far is the Sacramento 49er. Dirty as hell, moldy curtain, and then you have to bring your dirty towels out to the counter afterward. Pilot in Brazil, IN was lousy as well, made them keep cleaning and cleaning before I went in until it was bearable

Have had some really good ones though. TA in Mill City, NV, Pilot in West Wendover, I recently had the best shower ever anywhere and am drawing a blank where it was.

 

That was my vote for best in the Midwest.

None really stand as bad. South Hutchinson KS truck stop on hwy 96 is decent but small showers and area to get out. Loves in Dodge City KS and McPherson KS I like the 2 shower heads. One high one low. Low one is nice rinsing off lower half of your body.

 

Wow! They were nice BEFORE the remodel. Good job Newell!
