I tried driving for Roehl twice, couldn't get miles, when I left I was only running 1700 a week. Guess that is why they are making people sign a contract so you cant leave when they have you sitting all the time. Now before the cheerleaders start I did not have and still do not have any tickets, accidents, late picks or drops, never complained about loads or anything except lack of miles. Now I'm an O/O with a great company.
Roehl begins contracts to work there?!?!?!!

I'm considering Roehl, but wondering about this contract and whether it applies in my case.
I have three years recent driving experience. All but the last 7 months in dry van, now running flatbed to the oil fields. I have all my endorsements.
While I absolutely love the job I'm in right now, my wife wants to stay in SoCal. That being the case I'm researching options, but wanting to at least make $1400 gross average. I love flatbed, running mountains, weather challenges, and keeping customers happy (zero service failures).
Is the Fontana drop yard still operational? Will I hire in at a pay scale recognizing three years? -
Just got to add that they (Roehl) hasnt a contract for experienced drivers! Ask your recruiter, vs this internet bs!!!
-
I'd say "OK, but I get the 3130 after the 50k mile mark", they would stop that contract nonsense real quick if everyone flipped it on them

Ive talked with my recruiter with Roehl & there is NO CONTRACT FOR EXPER. DRIVERS!!! I don't know how that rumor started, maybe because they "do train for CDL" & THEY DO HAVE SOME KIND OF CONTRACT... only expected!
