christmas bonus?

I feel so stupid right now. All this time we all thought your expertise was matching Drivers with companies that might hire them. ...... Turns out that you're a Hookup Expert. I shoulda' been askin' ya' where ta' get a hug from a wimmuns so long ago ..... * sigh * ...... Rocks and Patty will breath a big sigh of relief when they read this, eh ? .....

Let me ask you something.
Did you send your boss a card, or the owner of your company?
Did you do anything special for anyone at your company for the holidays?

Or is it 'all about me'?!

 

I didn't put his truck in a ditch. I figure thats merry ####ing Christmas enough.

 

Corporations large and small do the giving. It's optional of course. There's no way to give a gift to a Corporation in a meaningful way. But a gift to the employee can help morale and help them feel appreciated. They'll be FAR more inclined to do a better job than if they feel like just a number.

 

I sent my dispatcher a Christmas present (seriously!) last year, and both my dispatchers (yeah, I got two now. I'm special. Some say "short bus" special...) got Christmas presents this year.

 

Got a hand written card, $200, a week off, and a dumb "wait - wtf, drivers get a Christmas too?" look on my face when it was handed to me.

 

One year I sent the dispatchers name and home address to several mail-order bride mailing lists.
He was a changed man after that; something to do with his wife staying in a rage 24/7.

 

Oh, the pure, undiluted evil of this! Me likey!

 

A couple of those mail-order bride addresses I found on the ad racks at truck stops. Just fill in the address and drop in the mail.

 

Too bad I actually LIKE my dispatchers!

Hmmm....now that I think about it....got a load planner or two who piss me off occasionally............naah. They're generally pretty cool as well.
