I'm not a trucker, just a wannabe. My friend went to cr England though and got his license through their school and after that they tried to get him to lease a truck and he told them no he just wanted to be a company driver. Well lol they told him they didn't have any openings for company drivers and sent him home owing money. He hauls coal now but he says cr England is just a scam to get you to lease a truck.

No claim this is true, but? I had a CR England driver tell me the only way to be a solo driver is you had to lease, as all company driver must drive team

 

My buddy went to their school, it took a month. The thing about them is they do let company drivers ride solo after their contract is up. The contract is 9 months, so teams for 9 months to pay it off. Oh and they started him at .16 cents a mile, lol. He did his 9 months and moved on to much better pay. If you don't finish the contract and don't repay cr england for the scooling other truck companies won't touch you.
