Actually! yes I have, I have always gone over and above what was required of me, I didn't have to do somethings, I could have just gone home, or waited for someone else to get the job done, Don't get me wrong, I don't expect anything, but it's nice when the company you work for shows their gratitude for their employee's that make that extra effort, Now I have only been with this company sense Feb 13, 2015 not even a year, And received bonuses, three different jackets, Personal phone call from the owner on my way home Wednesday before Christmas, thanking me for all the extra's I've done, There are a few drivers that started calling me "Company Man", and that's OK, It's just who I am, I don't do it for anything for anything extra, I don't expect anything, but it's nice to know it's not unnoticed, and it is appreciated

But Mr. Scrooge, sir, it's for my little boy Timmy,,,:biggrin_2553:
Sounds pretty good. If I was 10 years younger, I'd half consider driving for you.

Here's a good one. Years ago, my ex B-I-L's wife's father operated A&H Trucking, out of Footville, Wis. ( yeah, THAT A&H) One year, for Christmas, he took all his drivers to a basketball game, and after, they decided to go to a nudie bar. The 1st driver in went directly to the 1st girl he saw ( with no top, of course) and forced his face right into her boobs. Well, of course security grabbed him and threw him out. He was thrown out before the last guy even got in. :biggrin_2559:

I was working for a small 12 truck outfit last christmas and didnt recieve squat, not even a card. Usually a small company will give ya a small bonus, gift, or something.

Yes the employees did a pot luck lunch and secret santa gift exchange. The company did nothing for anyone. What do I do for the company? I make them money.
Everywhere I worked in the past I got at least a $10 gift card or something to show they care at least a little. I got $100 last year the same company i am at now, but now under new ownership, nothingm I know someone at another company who got $5000. Where my father works every employee got $1000.

I bet the upper staff receive a Christmas bonus.Ray has been with a company 12 years as a local driver,he's only missed two days the five yrs I've known him and only took one weeks vacation the entire time he's been employed there.he's a very loyal and dedicated driver to the company,he didn't even get a merry Christmas but I bet the upper staff got that and a bonus.

I bet they did. My problem is I like my direct supervisor and pretty much everyone I work directly with. But upper management is all greedy a holes that don't care about anything but getting their quarterly bonus by any means necessary.
