    Stayed up around Buffalo NY at the Flying J last night and it was snowing for a while then this morning it was just a bunch of slush. That just makes it nasty. Now heading to Atlanta.

    Had a fun trip from Virginia to Atlanta driving in the rain. Several wrecks had traffic messed up and the fact that people are scared to drive in the rain. Sitting at the Petro on 285 for the night.

    This is the time of year when we see the start of freight slowdown. Now when I started here, their pitch to me was that their freight didn't have a slowdown. (True enough with water,beer, and pet food)
    I can assure you, like everyone else there is a slowdown, although I'm hopeful that freight stays strong enough to keep the status quo.

    Amen brother I have a fat ribeye in the fridge at home was all set to grill a nice meal for me and my girls tonight and turns out this Green Bay to Dallas load is kind of a moneywhipper so mama will hafta enjoy the steak without me lol

    After 1 broker load fell through because it was double booked, I grabbed a 2 pick back to MI. Doesn't unload until 1/4 though. Yucky week.
    Hopefully I can get back to work after all these places recover from their hangovers.

    I don't even try to work over the holidays ... Been home since the 23rd. Won't get back on the truck before the 5th and then have about a days worth of house keeping before I roll.
