I was to lazy to read all the post but if someone mentioned this already I apologize. When two large vehicles are driving/passing one another, a low pressure area is cause between the trailers which will cause them to pull towards each other. I have been in this situation several times and it really does seem like they are swerving at you but they are actually being sucked towards you. I don't drive a big rig yet but you can really feel it when pulling a huge enclosed trailer with a pickup and a tracker/trailer passes you. I can actually feel my trailer pulling me towards the semi. I automatically start steering away from them when I see coming up behind me.

Also when you are fighting a cross wind and another vehicle temporarily blocks it, you will end up swerving towards them or away depending on the wind direction. I also plan ahead for that to happen. I have come close to "Kissing trailers" and it is a lesson learned quickly.......lol
