Ah, know it well! I work at NEMF off Spanoli rd and Broadhollow. But I live 37 miles East of there! Exit 63 off the LIE, and all the way North! I deliver to Home Depot there, PC Richards&son, among others! Good luck and keep updating dude! I'm looking to make a move maybe in the New Year!

 

I hear that. Being that I'm upgrading from B to A I figure the only way I can get a local is run for a company for 2 yrs and shoot for fair salary. But I figure since they run up and down from FL to as far as CT MA and RI its a good look because I want to move to Florida Vary soon.

What's the status on super service? What are the trucks governed at? What's starting pay for veteran driver?

 

I was there for 5 yrs, I quit in the summer of 2013. their pay is about avg, I cant give you a direct quote..they were offering over 40 cpm for veterans when I was there but for employees that were already onboard they kept me at 36 cpm which was part of the reason why I quit (small part), the main reason was they were underbid on the Harley Davidson dedicated account I was running which I had which allotted me nearly 3 days off, 4 days on while also training students I was netting over 1200/wk.. I didn't see myself going back to otr out for 4 weeks home for 3 or 4 days. currently I work for a union ltl company Holland motor freight and its for the better.

overall I think you can net around 1k/wk on avg with this company and get home every 2 weeks for 2 days, they do offer dedicated accounts occasionally but in my experience they are over 90% otr 1 day off per 1 week out. they did have a do it best account out of new York where they had long term employees working dedicated ltl type deliveries..not sure if they still have that account, it was pretty decent in comparison to otr but ####ty in comparison to any actual ltl carrier as far as pay.
