Hey playamwj12, good thread.
I have a friend who was with Malone for awhile, was wondering. Are they making you run ELOGS now? How about that load board, those loads you're getting are all coming off that board? One problem my friend had, he brought his own truck in, he said the LP drivers were loaded first, with loads that never made it on the "board". He does talk about going back though. Be safe out there.

It has nothing to do with being lease purchase, it has to do with focusing on relationships with agents and or scouring the board 26744 times a day. I would say that 80% of my freight never hits the board. On average I make 20-25 calls a day securing my freight. Little leg work goes a long way. 25% is 25% to Malone no need to worry about who is taking the loads just that they are capable.
I am on a Elog and don't mind it the first bit most times.
I can only think of ONE excuse to not make money here. If your truck is constantly broke down would be the only reason why. Making money here relies solely on me and how much I can and want to do. No baby sitting here, if your not prepared to succeed you'll fail simple as that. Malone has done everything they told me they would and more. -

Looks like bad weather coming for the weekend so may have to push my daughters birthday party back a week. If that's what happens I'll work Thursday this week through next weekend and be back home for the party.
