You're awesome too. I just sprinkled awesome dust on your post. You'll be awesome for one week. You must come back to re-awesome-up.

Asking how many loads a week someone is getting is kind of silly. I could understand if you were asking coworkers or if you were in a regional forum but there are way to many variables here for it to make any sense.

You must be doing something right,.. I pull a step deck,.. which is supposed to be specialized equipment commanding a higher rate than regular flat which is supposed to do better than most van freight.

Last few weeks has been difficult to keep running at above $2 mi. Been swallowing my pride with $1.85 - $1.95 mi loads. I wont go broke running for $1.90. Just bothers me knowing that retail channels were quick to raise prices when rates went up due to fuel prices sky rocketing. Yet now with lower freight rates,.. who is pocketing the money? Sure isnt me.

Well I only deal with office furniture and copy machines and all my loads are LTL so I can charge a much higher price

There's no way my customers going to use roadway yellow freight or some other LTL company to move their stuff Only to have it show up damaged

I thought it was just to see who was working smarter not harder kind of thing? I guess not.

I guess its better than starting up a thread to complain about how cold the mid-west is right now.

    Brrrrr,..

I know many of you guys love this kind of weather. I did when I was a kid. Frozen pants legs,.. stepping through the ice on the creek and soaking a shoe,.. I'd never go home. Stay out in it all day long.

Now I whine like a little girl if it drops below 50f.

Don't worrie, it's not a contest. You could just answer and give your variables.

Yep it is. I moved 14 loads in 3 days last week. We only had a 20 mile round trip for 13 of those.
