Have eaten yet, back in the truck. I saw your truck but looked so dark and wasn't sure if it's yours. I come over for a chat!

Dominick253 and Captain Zoom Thank this.

Had a nice evening meal and pleasant conversation with The Kraut, a fellow road warrior who braved Vail Pass to sit at Sapp Brothers in Denver to deliver in the morning. Fellow car nut and all around good egg. Thanks for the sandwich and safe travels!

After dinner with The Kraut I met a CREngland driver who actually likes it there (good dispatcher). He's new in the business and had the sense not to lease a truck straight out of school, so he's smarter than I was just starting out.

Need to get back to the Blue Wonder; The Hot Chick is gonna wonder if I'm hanging out at Romantix! (Unfortunately I'm hanging out on the toilet, an activity that isn't as fun but costs a lot less)

Slept about an hour later than planned, oog. Guess my genius plan to avoid Denver rush hour failed. Oh well, omelet/ablution/pretrip then zip over to yard for an empty and pick up in Aurora for a live unload Wednesday morning near Kansas City. Then from there they (are supposed) to find me one to Indy by Thursday.

I've been a little hard nosed about getting home on schedule this time which is why the layover and long transit time. I am pretty sure if I had trusted them I would have been in another battle of wills with a planner who wanted me in Oregon. My trust level has gotten pretty low.

    Dominick253 Thanks this.

Sounds like you are ready to jump ship. It might be time. Good luck to you.

Start next Monday back at Celadon. Might do temp control. Wage lock applies there too.

Hot Chick has a dog named Hooligan picked out.

Dominick253, The Kraut, Bumper and 2 others Thank this.

Waited an hour at yard for directions to an empty, wasted time off my 14. Hot Chick says we just got directions. Money says I'm going to the beer place! Of beer. 'Cause, beer.

    Beer.

It was great meeting you and I enjoyed the conversation. Glad you make the jump!

We talked about the Münch Mammoth, found a pic on my laptop, it was in September 2002 when I visited the Münch Museum and talked to Friedl Münch (he died 2014 in the age of 87).

I had an unpleasant day today, after my delivery the reefer didn't start and I had to go to the Carrier shop to get a new battery. Took them only 4.5 hours, 3.5 hrs waiting, 15 minutes work to exchange the battery and another 45 minutes waiting for the bill!
    I love those shops!
