I own my own company so it's up to me but yes, I would have liked to have been at home but I was sick on the road with the worst cold I've ever had.

Not that bad not being at home. I'm single and kids in different parts of the country. I would have liked to have been at my friends house though stuffing my face and watching the games. They have 2 new baby pugs and those guys are mental.

I was on the road many years ago out West some place. Don't remember where. It wasn't a chain truck stop but a large one. It was Christmas day and there was a knock on my door from the pastor of the church next door inviting me to Christmas dinner. I said no. Didn't want the whole praying and all that. He wouldn't take no for an answer so I went.
It was a whole bunch of volunteers putting on a HUGE spread for the truckers. It was really good. Then I got a Christmas present all wrapped up. Inside was a ton of trucking related stuff like gloves, back scratcher, WD 40 and a ton of other stuff.
They gave me a to go container to fill it up. I went to give him $20 but he wouldn't take it.Infosaur Thanks this. -
