Ten years? Hope you are getting ready to retire soon, and come back to the world of having a social life.

13 miles in the summer and 17 in the winter. All country driving so 60-65mph.

I live about 3 miles from my barn...smaller town rarely any traffic jams...we have one driver who runs night linehaul Monday thru Friday averages 12-14 hours per shift and lives about 90 miles out. He actually stays in his van in our parking lot on weekdays then commutes home for the weekend.

He says the drive home everyday after a long shift is too tough...

36 miles from house to the barn. My last job literally lived next door. I could roll out of bed and into the truck. Still wasn't worth it.

That MIGHT be somewhat tolerable if it weren't for trying to sleep during the day.
