I feel we did the oil price thing to ourselves. First we went years producing almost 0 oil. Then we decided we didn't want to depend on foreign oil anymore because prices were too high. So we started building like mad. Once those came on line and the supply lines made we got exactly what we wanted. Cheaper oil. It's like trucking, when you double the supply the rates go down. Now Iran is coming on line and supply is going higher again. It's not that we are using less. We just have a lot more. And we caused it. (Both domestically and with foreign policies.

Oil prices are down cause the arabs didn't like the idea of anyone fraccing for oil. Fraccing competes with wells. They've pumped the inventorys so full. To push prices down. And force the fraccers out of business. Which is what happened. Fraccers needed $60 just to break even. Over 2000 companies are gone. You don't see much pipe being hauled these days. Even the trucks that actually haul the oil are looking for other things to haul. My bro in law has been a part timer for a year now. After 7 years with the company. Refineries don't want to pay the haul rates they once did anymore. They're not paying as much for oil. And they're selling fuel for half price.

    Fuel came down. OK.

Insurance, Tires, Rent, Mortgage, Repairs, Truck Payment, Food. All holding steady, if anything going up.

non trending truckstops dont accept fuel cards. So how are you going to pump both side tanks and pay for the fuel? cuz everyone already knows gas stations are the way to buy.
