I did not want to leave home this morning, I wish it'd of snowed again
    image.jpeg

But it didn't and last week I forgot to get my permits at Indy, I picked up a tcalled trailer there, the T-1 message pops right up and a half ### PTI shows it has steel cords sticking out of a tire, I run it up to Chicago and then drop it at Olney for the next driver to fix and head home.

So today I tell her I need to get by Indy this month for the permits and so I had to drop my trailer at Amazon in New Albany and bobtail to Lafayette for a new trailer.
I get the IFTA, but not the New York HUT sticker as my truck is getting retired, heck I just spent 10 days moving into this relic.
Then this afternoon I get another shag dropping the new trailer at another Amazon 45 miles away and bobtailing back for another new trailer.
Daycab work, I set my PTA for Saturday, heck I suck at shags, and they give me a preplan loading in the morning in Illinois going to York, PA, I turned it down as I have this trailer drop to do and it'll take most the day,

I called the Lafayette copper place to check on the dock worker, she said it wasn't my concern, I called her a dip ####,

Absolutely , I've picked up so many tcalled loads there that the trailer needed repairs badly, and the last driver couldn't waddle inside to write it up.
I did send my asset manager a message about that trailer and for her to give me the drivers phone number, she said they'd take care of it.
I would have beat the living #### out of him, but someone can get it fixed.
I was worried as the load from Chicago ish to Olney, I had 33,950 on the tandems and it was stretched back, and both scales were open, but I got the green light. :) #Prepass

Then you aren't any better than that piece of garbage that left originally... This is what's wrong with this industry...

I can't even begin to count the hours I've wasted fixing some other driver's problems. The fact that you knowingly left the problem "for the next guy" is shameful. Add to that you have the balls to say you "would have beat the living #### out of him"... So which one is it? You can't have it both ways.

Ok girls, I could have wrote the trailer up and took my break and then left out at 2 in the morning for an on time delivery or run it and deliver it on time and taking a break up at Hebron. Hmmmm.

But, I scaled the next load at Bolingbrook, thought about running 355 to 80 west and 55 south and cutting over to 57 to avoid the scales, but I manned up and went 80 east to 57 south and BOTH the scales were open, but I got the green lights.
Sure, I'm bad for noticing a violation, but the pos that dropped the trailer gets a pass, I'm sure the ###### that dropped the trailer was a dumb ###### anyways

On a related note, I've been sitting here at Albertsons in North Salt Lake for 6 hours delivering a load that someone else didn't want to deal with. I managed to deliver my other load early today (despite being dispatched late) and have to wait around until tomorrow so I can go do my DOT physical. Not 10 minutes after I dropped my empty for the shop to T1 I get a message from the planner saying this load needed to deliver today and nobody else could do it. Turns out the original driver dropped it at the yard and his asset manager T-called it so he could go home. My guess is the guy knew (as I do) that delivering here is usually a 3-4 hour process. Today is worse than usual because their receiving people are in some sort of training and there is 1(!) receiver handling 20 docks... therefore even though the lumpers unloaded it HOURS ago I'm stuck for the foreseeable future. I can safely say I will NEVER do another "favor" for the planners again.

I remember when the Albertsons grocery stores baked fresh bread, seems like 4 in the afternoon it came out of the oven and went
    Up for sale.
