Possible complication--warning tickets count against PSP and I got one when I got roadside inspection a month ago in OR. Didn't mention it on application (honestly had forgotten all about it). Could affect my status, waiting for an answer. I brought it up to avoid the appearance of concealing information.

Hoping I don't end up having to go back to Gordon over this--I might be worrying needlessly but I hate the waiting for an answer part.

Warning ticket was the probable cause for the roadside inspection, 65/55. Trooper said he realized it was a downhill in the pitch black pouring rain so he'd turn me loose with a warning. Turns out that's worse than a ticket; you can't contest a warning. Safety guy here said if someone tries to do you a favor with a warning in a CMV just ask for the ticket so you can fight it; with a warning you have no recourse and it goes against your score. (Warnings in your POV don't matter)

Orientation manager says if it shows up I'll have to do a STAR check drive (like SMITH System)--that's best case. Worst case is it puts me over on Celadon points and I have to leave. I hate waiting; the guy I need to talk to is at lunch.

Warning not warning ticket. Written under probable cause for roadside inspection.

And the issues I was having are resolved.

Warnings only count against your PSP, IF an inspection is also done. They do have a system for fighting them, am so tired right now tho, that I am drawing a complete blank. The BIG problem with this lovely system that FMSCA devised, to deny us the right to an impartial judge and jury system is...... under their system, the complaint you file, goes right back to the cop who gave it to you in the 1st place. Well yea!!!

It's going to drive me a wall, till I can remember what the dang procedure is called!!!!

Celadon counts them internally. But they reviewed the original document and declared me clean.

In other news, I've just learned that they're currently 27 trucks behind for new drivers (27 diverts ahead of me for a truck). I'm livid and so is The Hot Chick. I predicated all my actions in good faith that they would be prepared to put me to work when I finished orientation. If I had known I would have waited to come over. We are both in a real bind. They want me to do recovery work but they won't pay to transport or house her. I sure they knew last week that they were hurting for trucks. The only reason I know about this is I overheard the orientation director talking to another driver and I accosted her directly.

One of my old friends is going to be my ops manager. I'm going to give him an earful about this tomorrow. Maybe he can help, or tell me who can. I don't have the money left to transport my wife, or house her.
